Indie Grits was born in 2007 as a regional film festival focused on spotlighting do-it-yourself filmmakers from the Southeastern United States. As the festival has grown, now in its tenth year, it has branched out, now encompassing all of the arts: puppetry, fine arts, music, culinary, and technological.
